| sinKing is an aggressive metal band, founded 2003 in Finland. In the demo-period sinKing attended Finnish Metal Expos national metal band contest in 2005 and took the first place out of 148 contestants. After the victory they did some serious shows in 2005. They opened for Soulfly in Tavastia club Helsinki, Stormed the stage for thousands of people in TUSKA-OPEN-AIR metal festival with Testament, Dimmu Borgir, Accept… and did various other fierce shows in Finland. They even entered Estonia for the nations oldest festival Green Christmas w/ Anathema, Die Krupps… in December 2005. In November 2005 sinKing entered Sound Supreme Studio to record a full-length album. They worked with a talented Finnish producer Janne Saksa and by the end of January 2006 they finished the session with 11 hell-hammering songs for the album. First single “Revenge is coarse” was released February 15th 2006, and it was followed by a release show once again in Finnish Metal Expo 17.02.2006. On its debut week in Finnish single charts “Revenge is coarse” went to number 1. Debut full-length album “New Trinity” was released April 26th 2006 and was well received by Finnish metal fans and media. It was even noticed by media abroad. As a result of that sinKing went on tour with brasilian metal-act Cobalto. “Perkele Metal Tour” consisted 15 gigs in Finland and Brasil. In 2007 sinKing continued doing gigs in Finland and started to write new material. As of now they´re turning the heat on and assaulting the audience for the second time with a new ep- release “Dead Man´s Groove”. Out NOW. |
